My next adventure is coming up in August when I’ll be travelling again to Greece, plus taking in Istanbul, Jordan, Petra, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Then up to my home town in Liverpool and back through the Turquoise Coast! I think there may be a second book in there somewhere, so stay tuned!!

Full disclosure: I’m related to the author and was asked to read her book and write a review.
So, here goes…
First off, I’m a man and this book is clearly intended for a female audience. What I thought was going to be a labour of love turned out much differently than I expected. And in a good way.
As I began to read, it took a little getting through the background descriptions of the 3 women. But once I got to the stories reciting their travels and tribulations I was hooked in the same way a guy has to finish a flick-chick “just to see what happens.” I couldn’t stop reading until right to the end — I read it all in less than two days!
If you’re looking for a rollicking good romp through Europe, the ups and downs of “pre-technology” travel, and some rather outlandish adventures, then this book is for you. It’s fun, easy-to-read, and the descriptive story-telling has the kind of detail you can only get from having experienced the situations in real life.

The novel was really well written. It’s an easy read that transports you to the islands of Greece. You almost feel the warmth of the Mediterranean sun and savour the taste of the sumptuous Greek food and cocktails by the sea. The girls adventures along the way keeps you riveted to the book that you simply can not put it down until the end!!
